Abstrakt

An overview of principles and applications of analytical separation methods used by a research team in analytical laboratory is given. The immense separation potential and wide applications of current separation methods in analytical chemistry are shown and discussed. The present development in the separation methods is characterized by miniaturization and hyphenation with modern sensitive detection techniques. Although current analytical separation techniques are generally considered as sensitive, selective, efficient and tolerant of the environment, their progress will never end.
