Abstract

Graphene-based nanomaterials have become the focus of attention in nanotechnology due to their unique properties. An exceptional charge transport mobility and thermal, optical and mechanical properties make them an interesting material in many applications including electrochemical biosensing. The aim of this review is to provide comprehensive information on the synthesis and functionalization of graphene and on practical use of graphene-based materials.
