Application of Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography in Separation of Polar Compounds
Abstrakt
Applicability of classical procedures based on reverse-phase liquid chromatography in separation of water-soluble polar substances is generally limited. In many cases, hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) is able to separate highly polar substances using polar stationary phases and aqueous mobile phases containing increased amounts of organic solvents. Separation of amino acids, peptides, nucleic acids and other organic substances with special emphasis on explanation of basic principles are discussed in the present review.Stahování
