Abstract

Pre­paration of new secondary school-leaving examination in chemistry at secondary schools in the Czech Republic in 2000–2011 is described. The article shows the development of a new secon­dary school-leaving examination in connection with the education reform and also mentions the current state. The article gives the requirements of previous school-leaving examination and stresses the importance of the collection of topics for the common part of the examination and other related materials. It also deals with collection of solutions to problems, examples of problems for various thematic areas and the specific degrees of curriculum acquisition. The conclusion concerns the realisation of the national school-leaving examination in 2011.
