Abstract

Polymorphic system of two anhydrates (A and B forms) of N-(2-chloro-6methylphenyl)-2-[[6-(hydroxyethyl)- 1-piperazinyl]-2-methyl-4-pyrimidinyl]amino]-5- thiazole carboxamide was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, DSC and microscopy techniques. Basic crystal data of form A were obtained and crystal structure of form B was determined from X-ray synchrotron powder data.
