Abstract

Two types of miniaturized flow-through electrolytic cells, without exchange membranes and with minimal inner volume, for electrochemical hydride generation in AAS were designed. For one of these cells, a higher sensitivity and better limit of detection in Se determination by hydride-generation AAS and electrochemical generation of Se hydride were attained than in the classical thin-layer flow-through cell.
