Abstract

A brief summary of applications of modified nanoparticles in analytical chemistry is presented. Electrochemical (voltammetric and potentiometric), spectral (absorption, fluorescence, and light scattering) and separation methods using nanoparticles are described. Modified nanoparticles are used to enhance selectivity, to decrease the limit of detection and in separation techniques.
