Detector Tube for the Detection of Carbon Monoxide
Abstract
A new type of detector tube designed for control of carbon monoxide in atmosphere is described. The sensitive colorimetric method for the determination of CO is based on the reduction of Fe(III) to Fe(II) by CO in presence of 1,10-phenanthroline leading to the formation of a tris-(1,10-phenanthroline)Fe(II) complex.Downloads
