Abstract

The liquid hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene Krasol LBH 3000 was used as a polyol for the preparation of polyurethane elastomers. The dependence of elastomer properties (tensile strength and elongation, Shore hardness) on the polyurethane composition (type of isocyanate and of the chain extender, hard-phase content) and on the procedure applied (one-shot or prepolymer process) were investigated.
