Abstract

The review deals with new trends in hydrodesulfurization and dearomatization of petroleum middle distillates used for the production of diesel fuel. The latest development of catalysts with higher activity and stability for these processes is mentioned. The influences of the raw material and its composition and reaction conditions on the processes are shown. The inhibitors of hydrorefining reactions as well as single-stage and two-stage dearomatization technologies are mentioned.
