Chemistry Education at Universities for Non-chemical Study Programmes

Chemistry teaching within non-chemical study programmes should not be just a difficult subject and a riddle for students. It should become an information basis for subsequent studies. The present contribution opens a discussion of potential approaches to improving the education. In particular, the course syllabus of "basic chemistry" is suggested regarding to curriculum programs of several universities and regarding to utilization of posed knowledge into subsequent subjects. Further, the methods and forms of education are mentioned in relation to education efficiency and the teacher personality.
