Abstract

Prevalence of tumors and the search for effective diagnostic approach is a very topical issue worldwide. According to the Czech National Cancer Registry (CNCR), colon and lung cancers are the most common types of cancer in the Czech Republic. This review is focused on brief literal survey of known, widely used and newly evolving methods suitable for early diagnosis of the mentioned cancer diseases.
